YOUR MERGER GUIDE
Healthcare Credit Union is providing you with this Merger Guide to assist you through upcoming changes to your account. These changes are a result of merging core operating systems with Goldenwest.
We encourage you to pay attention to the following items as we anticipate they will have the greatest impact on your account relationship with Healthcare Credit Union:
Account & Routing Numbers
Account numbers will be amended to an 8-digit number that incorporates your existing account number. This change will impact personal checks, direct deposit and automatic withdrawals. Beginning May 1, the new routing number will be 324377613.
Healthcare Credit Union’s online branch will be replaced by a new online banking system, accessed through Goldenwest’s website at gwcu.org. Your account transaction history will not transfer to the Goldenwest online banking system. The registration process for the online banking system will take about five minutes to establish credentials including a new username and password. To enroll in online banking, your mailing address, email address and mobile phone number must be accurate in the Credit Union’s records. You can enroll in the new online banking system beginning May 1, 2017. See page 18 for complete details.
The existing Healthcare Credit Union mobile app will be discontinued on April 28, 2017 at 3 p.m. Members will need to download the Goldenwest mobile banking app for account access with your smart phones and tablets. You can enroll in mobile banking after setting up your username and password in the online banking system. Goldenwest’s online and mobile banking platforms share the same login credentials. Mobile deposit will be available for qualifying members.
Online Bill Pay is changing to a more robust system with additional features and benefits for Healthcare Credit Union members. Payment history, payees, and pre-scheduled and/or recurring payments should transfer over from the Healthcare Credit Union Online Bill Pay system to Goldenwest.
Replacement Visa credit and debit cards will arrive by mail mid-April but cannot be activated until May 1, 2017. Directions for activation will be on a sticker attached to your card. Continue using your existing Visa cards through April 30, 2017.
