Merger Guide

for Healthcare Credit Union Members

We are quickly approaching the operating system merger between Healthcare and Goldenwest Credit Unions. Employees from both organizations have been working diligently for several months to ensure a smooth transition of products and services.

This merger guide provides detailed information to help you through the conversion process. In particular, we encourage you to note account changes that will be effective May 1, 2017.

There are many benefits associated with the merger. Some of these benefits include:

  • An expanded branch network of 29 additional offices from Logan to St George; and,
  • A broader array of products and services, including consumer loans, mortgages, Visa cards, business services, insurance services, enhancements to online and mobile banking platforms, and much more.

Goldenwest is an Ogden-based Credit Union founded in 1936 with a proud legacy of financial strength. Goldenwest and Healthcare Credit Unions share similar values, and together we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship for our not-for-profit financial cooperative that includes more than 120,000 members.

Healthcare Credit Union has a strong heritage and rich association with Intermountain Healthcare. Goldenwest will continue to carry the tradition of serving members affiliated with Intermountain Healthcare and the healthcare community. As such, we are retaining the Healthcare Credit Union name at the branch locations on South Temple in Salt Lake City, in Murray, and at the six branches located in Intermountain Healthcare facilities. Our updated logo includes “a Goldenwest Company” in the design.
