Goldenwest Announces New Branch Manager

OGDEN, UT: June 1, 2012 – Maggie Peterson was recently named business development manager for Goldenwest Credit Union’s Ogden branch located at 3225 Harrison Boulevard. Peterson will supervise all branch operations, originate mortgage loans, and oversee business development at the office.

Peterson began her Goldenwest career nine years ago as a teller, and has held every branch office position since that time. Most recently, she served as the assistant manager in Layton office. In addition to her credit union experience, Peterson had studied environmental science at Weber State University.

Established in 1936 in Ogden by six Union Pacific Railroad workers, Goldenwest Federal Credit Union now serves 84,000 members and holds $800 million in assets. Goldenwest has 19 offices, with branch locations in Weber, Morgan, Davis, Salt Lake, Utah and Washington counties.
