Goldenwest Credit Union Holds Ribbon Cutting for Tremonton Branch

Tremonton, Utah – August 28, 2026 – Goldenwest Credit Union celebrated the opening of the new Tremonton Branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 28, 2026, commencing the opening of its 51st location. The full-service branch is located at 548 W Main Street in Tremonton.

The Tremonton Branch marks Goldenwest’s second location in Box Elder County, expanding the Credit Union’s presence in the area more than a decade after the grand reopening of the Brigham City Branch in 2014.

“We are excited to expand our presence in Box Elder County and become part of the Tremonton community,” said Goldenwest President and CEO David Butterfield. “We look forward to building lasting relationships with residents, schools, and businesses while providing the personalized service our members expect from Goldenwest.”

The ribbon-cutting celebration brought together Goldenwest leaders, employees, and community members to commemorate the occasion. Attendees included Goldenwest President and CEO David Butterfield, retired President and CEO Kerry Wahlen, members of the Credit Union’s Executive Team, Tremonton Mayor Bret Rohde, and representatives from the local Chamber of Commerce.

As part of the celebration, Goldenwest demonstrated its commitment to the local community by donating to the McKinley Elementary PTA and the Box Elder School District Foundation for Financial Literacy.

Patricia Roberts has been appointed Branch Manager and will oversee daily operations while leading the branch’s member service team.

The Tremonton Branch offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services, including checking and savings accounts, vehicle and RV loans, home mortgages, business services, credit cards, and home, auto, and business insurance. The location also features drive-thru service and a 24-hour ATM for added convenience.
