In 1984, Goldenwest ventured outside of Weber County and opened the first branch located in Davis County. Today, we have six offices in Davis County with branches in Clinton, Clearfield, Layton, Kaysville, Centerville and I’m excited to say ‘now in Bountiful’. With the Bountiful branch opening on August 2nd, we have 21 branch offices across Utah. I invite you to visit this beautiful, full-service office located at 2085 Orchard Drive.

Our members are busy...I see that every day. In our credit union, we are particularly aware that time is money. That’s why we provide value to our members with our many free services with convenience in mind. It’s our goal to save you money and time.

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we consider it our stewardship to provide timely financial education to our members and the community. As such, Goldenwest Credit Union is hosting a free Health Care Reform Seminar on May 24th. Business owners and managers are invited to attend this seminar, as well as human resource directors and others who are decision makers for health care plans and needs.

It was a pleasure meeting personally with many of our members at the Goldenwest Annual Meeting last month. During the meeting, Chairman Bill Hart announced that Stoney Wayment and Tony Reynolds were re-elected to the Board of Directors. We congratulate Stoney and Tony, and thank all of our board members for their service.

It’s that time of year when I’m preparing to run the Annual Goldenwest 5K For Schools. Every spring I join with thousands of other parents, teachers and volunteers to raise money for local schools by participating in the 5K. It’s a thrill to see people of all ages in our community come together to support public education. Not to mention, this annual event is great motivator for me to stay in-shape.
