Goldenwest Holds Annual Meeting and Announces Board Election Results

OGDEN, UT: April 10, 2014 -- Goldenwest Federal Credit Union members, employees and volunteers attended the 78th Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, April 8th at the corporate headquarters in Ogden. The meeting included the presentation of the Annual Report 2013 to the membership.

Presentations regarding the state of the credit union were delivered to the membership by Chairman Bill Hart, President/CEO Kerry Wahlen, and Supervisory Committee Chair Phil Orrock. All reports concluded that the credit union’s assets remain safe and secure.

During the course of the Annual Meeting, Chairman Hart announced that Tad Neuenswander, Karen Kagie and Dan Musgrave had been re-elected to serve as Directors of the credit union.

Following the Annual Meeting, the Board members held a private session during which they elected Bill Hart as Chairman, Steve Carroll as Vice-Chairman, and Tad Neuenswander as Secretary for the next 12 months.

This was the first Annual Meeting for Goldenwest Credit Union since they merged with USU Credit Union in October 2013. The combined credit unions serve more than 100,000 members, hold $1 billion in assets and operate 26 branches from Logan to St George.
