Goldenwest Credit Union has partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help raise money to fight this terrible disease.

In May, more than a dozen Goldenwest employees volunteered at the CFF “Great Strides” fundraising event in Ogden to help with registration and host carnival games for participants. The annual event not only raises money for CFF research, but also provides education to the public about CFF.

On September 13th, the CFF “Cycle for Life” biking fundraiser will be held at the Coalville City Park. This event will not only be supported by Goldenwest, but will also include Goldenwest Cycle for Life team! Seventeen Goldenwest employees have accepted the challenge to ride between 20 and 100 miles in support of a cure for cystic fibrosis.

For the past couple of months, Goldenwest employees have had the opportunity to “buy casual Friday” with a $5 donation to the CFF. With a $5 donation, the employee had the option to wear jeans to work.

For the 2014-2015 school year, Goldenwest is a corporate sponsor for KSL Read Today Program. Employees at our 26 branches located from Logan to St George will read with Utah students during lunch hours. We look forward to helping Utah children become more engaged in reading.
